C11 - Prominenz in großen Sprachmodellen
In diesem Projekt wird Prominenz mithilfe von großen Sprachmodellen untersucht. Sprachmodelle sollen dabei die Rolle von Versuchspersonen in psycholinguistischen Experimenten übernehmen, womit das Projekt auch ein methodologisches Ziel verfolgt. Zunächst geht es darum, Ergebnisse von mit Menschen durchgeführten linguistischen Experimenten so gut es geht zu replizieren -- wobei im Projekt auch erarbeitet werden muss, wie man das eigentlich genau misst und was “so gut es geht” heißt. Dazu arbeiten wir mit drei Projekten aus dem SFB zusammen, nämlich B04, C04 und C07. Danach werden die Experiment-Simulationen schrittweise erweitert, so dass größere Kontexte mit mehr Entscheidungsmöglichkeiten und Varianten untersucht werden können. Schlussendlich wird im Projekt auch untersucht, ob Sprachmodelle nicht nur eine -- relativ unbestimmte -- Gesamtheit an Sprecher:innen simulieren können, sondern auch zur Simulation einzelner Versuchspersonen einsetzbar sind.
