A04 - Dynamic modelling of prosodic prominence

In phase I, we provided a dynamic model that accounts for intonational and articulatory modulations of prosodic prominence in a unified system. In phase II, we aim to expand this model by investigating the integration of multiple channels in dialogues. For recordings we will use a dual 3D Electromagnetic Articulograph (3D-EMA twin system). On the basis of attractor landscapes we will develop a multidimensional model of prosodic prominence to account for the complex interactions of phonetic dimensions used by different speakers.
